Christian Counselling

E.C.M. 'Edinburgh Counselling Ministries,' previously operated under the name of 'Crossline.' The ministry has been established for over fifteen years and is held in high regard in Edinburgh for its Christian distinctiveness.

E.C.M. provides face to face counselling in a confidential setting. The opportunity is afforded to you to explore your thoughts and feelings and find a way forward through many of life's difficulties, whether personal, work or family related.

E.C.M. offers 'Excellence with Compassion.'

Excellence in that all our counsellors have or are, undergoing professional training; either having a Diploma in Counselling or working towards that. The counsellors are subject to regular supervision and give themselves to ongoing personal development.

The agency is affiliated to A.C.C. the Association of Christian Counsellors and is also a member of C.O.S.C.A (Scotland's Professional Counselling Organisation). The service has recently attained the standard of the C.O.S.C.A. Recognition Scheme.

Compassion in that this is the ethos of our service. While all our Counsellors are Christians, our service is open to all regardless of disability, faith, gender, marital status, race, religious belief, sexual orientation, nationality or ethnic origin. A client's beliefs and values will be respected, whatever they are.

Abused, angry, addicted, bereaved, depressed, relationship problems? ... then counselling may be the way forward for you.

E.C.M. also offers personal therapy for counselling students or counsellors wishing to further their personal development.

Cost is related to ability to pay and follows ECM guidelines, a copy of which can be obtained on request.
