The Prayer Rooms

Romans 12 v12-13
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Reaching out to the city in Prayer.

Whether you are a visitor to the city, working in town, or a resident Christian/non Christian and you need prayer, you are invited to come along to our prayer breakfast. This will run throughout the summer months between 7.30am – 09.00am. So come and go as you please during these times and leave your cares with Jesus!

Contributions to the “Basics Bank”

A huge thank you to the girls of Curves at Beaverhall Rd, Julia Matyasz, Christine Riley, and Tanya Locker pictured (L-R) to the right with me (Lawrie Hudson). The clients brought in bags of groceries and toiletries in place of membership fees. An estimated £4000 worth of goods were delivered to the mission and will be distributed through the Basics Bank.

Also, just as big a thank you to the girls of Curves at Gorgie Rd, Celia & Christina pictured (L-R) to the left with Bill Chalmers, manager of the “Basics Bank”.

The Celtic Tour

STOP PRESS: Cuthbert and Knox are on holiday during July and August, but will return in September.

Cuthbert and Knox are back again for another season. And don't forget the eccentric Lord Monboddo from the Enlightenment, and our beautiful singer!

This walking tour runs on Wednesday nights at 7.30pm, starting on the Castle Esplanade, and ending at Carrubbers cafe for about 9pm, in May, June, September and October.

It is ideal for your church groups and house groups, and is an opportunity to bring your friends to hear the Gospel, too.

All bookings to the ECM office (0131 554 6140, or 07985 070899)
