We ran a special Food Fund for 5 weeks and you helped us raise £7,435 to buy food for individuals and families who are really struggling during the C-19 crisis. We have claimed £1,251 in Gift Aid, bringing the total to £8,686. We want to say a big "thank you" to all 124 people who donated to this fundraiser!
In addition, a lot of people donated directly to our new food fund, bringing the total donated by individuals to over £15,000, far exceeding our faith goal!
We'd be delighted if you wanted to become a regular supporter of Edinburgh City Mission and help us play a part in creating a mission movement across the city. You can find all the information you need on this page, but if have any questions, please get in touch by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your support!
Edinburgh City Mission is mainly dependent on the financial giving of individual people and churches. We rely on the generosity of individuals.
What is a Mission Enabler?
A Mission Enabler is someone who gives regular financial support to the work of Edinburgh City Mission. Whether that's £5 a month or £50, regular support helps us to plan, budget, and invest in future projects.
We are very grateful for the one-off donations that we receive, every donation we get goes into the work of Edinburgh City Mission, and without the generosity of our supporters, we wouldn't be able to support the people in this city. Find out more information below.
We know how important it is for you to make provision for your family and loved ones a priority when thinking about your will. Over and above, including us in your will could help us maintain our current projects around the most deprived areas of Edinburgh, or even create new projects and send more Mission Strengtheners to other places in the city. Learn more about this option here.
We also know that changing your will requires time and resources. That’s why we partnered with Leonard Thomson, a solicitor who is willing to help you do this for free, should you decide to include a minimum of £1000 in your will for us.
E-mail us if you would like to explore this way of giving.

Jean recently celebrated her 90th birthday and she asked, instead of presents, if people could give donations to Edinburgh City Mission. She collected over £300 for our work.

On their wedding day, Louise and Alan chose three charities to support instead of a wedding 'gift list'. Meaning that their special day also impacted the lives of people in need in their community. Edinburgh City Mission was one of the charities which benefitted from the generous gifts from their wedding guests.
Thank you Louise and Alan!
Ann loves making marmalade, jams and chutneys. She has a good excuse to make plenty because she sells it to raise money for Edinburgh City Mission, in particular the Foodbank we run in Granton.
